Stacked Burger Samui has a few new twists to keep things interesting!
Stacked Burger at OZO Chaweng Samui is so much more than just burgers. Stacked focuses on maintaining the true flavours of fresh high-quality ingredients by using time-honoured techniques. Top-quality American grass-fed beef is ground up to three times a day, ensuring burger patties are always fresh and tasty. An assortment of home-made buns ranging from black sesame to chilli lime and lemon parsley are baked fresh daily. Stacked takes its comfort food seriously. Fun toppings and innovative flavour combinations ensure all burgers live up to their juiciest, tastiest possibilities.
The best-selling burger is The Cowboy, a prime beef patty with onion rings, smoked bacon, cheddar cheese, Stacked sauce and salad in a black sesame bun. You can’t go wrong with the Classic Burger, with lettuce, tomato, red onion, pickle and a generous slathering of Stacked secret sauce. Pile your burger with whatever else you’re craving – smoked bacon, onion rings, beetroot, or one of six different kinds of melted cheese, for example. Hot Mama includes jalapeño chips, spicy bacon jam and Sriracha aioli on a chilli lime bun while The Chip Shop is beef-free with battered Alaskan cod, Stacked tartar sauce, malt vinegar caramelised onions, beetroot and salad in a lemon-parsley bun. Recently moved from Anantara Lawana to Stacked is Chef Kai, who has introduced some new additions of Samui’s island taste to the existing burger menu. One of the latest creations is The Crab Burger, which consists of local soft shell crab with a lightly spiced home-made sesame sauce.
Vegetarians can tuck into the burger frenzy too with Save-a-Cow – grilled eggplant, courgette and bell peppers, sautéed mushrooms, beetroot, Emmental, Mozzarella and whole grain mustard aioli on a lemon parsley bun. If you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions, be sure to ask for home-made lactose-free cheese or gluten-free buns if required. Stacked guarantees that nobody gets left out!
Big eaters can feel free to partake in the Stacked Burger Challenge. The instructions are pretty simple – all you have to do is to eat four burger patties, four slices of cheddar, eight strips of bacon, red onion, lettuce, pickle, tomato and Stacked burger sauce in a freshly baked black sesame seed bun served with double fries and double slaw, within 20 minutes. If you crack it, the burger is free and photos of your triumphant moments will be posted on Stacked’s Facebook page.
Non-burger lovers have plenty of dining options too, try Grilled Caesar Salad, Rings of Fire (fresh local calamari, coriander chilli batter, Stacked tartar sauce, sriracha aioli, fresh herbs and lemon) or Sirloin Strip Steak (300 grams of Australian Prime Certified Black Angus) cooked just the way you like. Be sure to also try out some of the gourmet items in the menu – the Wagyu Beef Cheeks dripping in demi-glazed gravy, Baja Fish Tacos and Pan-roasted Alaskan Salmon are just some of the favourites. If you’re coming with a group of friends, huge sharing snack options such as the Saucy Chicken Wings, a basket of Chilli Cheese Fries or Nachos Verde are available at Stacked.
The creativity at Stacked also extends to the drinks menu. A great variety of local, imported and craft beers, ciders and wines plus classic, signature and other imaginative cocktails are caringly prepared with passion and zest by the Stacked mixologist. Try a Bacon-Stacked Bloody Mary - sweet pepper vodka, fresh green tomato, green and pink peppercorn, galangal, lemon, horseradish, Thai bird chilli, crispy bacon and sea salt flakes or the Stacked and Shacked – pandan-infused rum with fresh pineapple and lime, pink peppercorn and palm sugar. The latest promotion from Chef Kai is the Veneziano - Campari, sparkling water, Prosecco and a slice of orange to refresh your taste buds and elicit some nostalgia.
